The Oven
If you’re after a pizza stop looking now and head straight to The Oven. For not only are the wood-fired pizzas served here cooked in the traditional Neapolitan way, but Head Chef Fabrizio Mancinetti was awarded Pizza Chef of The Year for 2016.
Fun and informal the atmosphere is rustic and industrial, beers are served by the bottle and large tables and friendly waiters happily cater to big parties. However, don’t be fooled into thinking there’s anything relaxed about the cooking – this is a place that takes its pizza seriously. Fabrizio is a chef that really knows his stuff and the menu is a combination of classic Neapolitan favourites while offering more unusual varieties too. All pizzas are prepared using artisan ingredients sourced directly from Italy and cooked in a specially made, wood-fired oven for no more than 90 seconds at extremely high temperatures, resulting in a unique crust and mouth-watering flavour. Weren't hungry before? Bet you are now.

About
Kingsmead Square
Bath
Full of quirky and cool indies, Kingsmead Square is the destination for street food, designer boutiques, speciality coffee and glorious sunny outdoor seating. A bustling hub for locals and tourists, the Kingsmead community centres around a majestic tree in the square, providing cover for the fruit and veg stall which supplies many of the independent cafes, restaurants and delis in the area.
Strolling through the square in the evenings can be magical under the atmospheric lights that decorate the branches of the old tree. Try some gelato from the local ice cream store and enjoy the beautiful tall Georgian buildings that surround the Kingsmead community.
Bath is a city steeped in history, and its beautiful sandstone buildings is a constant reminder of its regal past as you explore the city. Take a walk along the Royal Crescent, a tour of the Roman Baths or a trip to the Abbey and you quickly understand why this city is one of the most the photographed, and visited, in England.
However, don’t be fooled into thinking the high street and its famous attractions are all Bath has to offer. For take a trip down any of the cobbled side streets and you’ll be lead to the beating heart of the city, the local businesses and their owners. From Walcot Street in the north to Queen’s Square in the West and Henrietta Road in the east, Bath residents are fierce in their support for independent businesses. And with good reason, for this city is packed with them. From fine dining, to boutique stays and contemporary cafes and edgy pubs.
