At the Chapel
A social hub, cafe, restaurant, hotel and event venue, At The Chapel is a building steeped in history as it always has been, in the centre of Bruton. The building itself has been reinvented from it's days as a coaching inn, to a place of worship and has since been taken over by it's current owners, restaurateur Catherine Butler and furniture designer Ahmed Sidki. Keeping the character of the 17th Century building, the couple have created a striking and imaginative retreat, combining restored period features and contemporary design.
The restaurant offers a selection of fresh, inventive dishes, which include pizzas from a wood fired oven and an enviable children's menu to satisfy smaller appetites. Informal and friendly, colourful dishes celebrating the high quality, local ingredients mingle with locals looking for great coffee and a quick bite of At The Chapel's award winning artisan breads, pastries and cakes, made in their on-site bakery. As well as breakfast, lunch and dinner, we would recommend a visit to their clubroom, where you can enjoy a tipple from their cocktail menu and locally sourced bar snacks. This is a place to enjoy and relax, a must with every visit in Bruton and certainly not one to miss!
