Hugo's Greengrocer

In 2018 Hugo Sapsed realised his dream to create his own deli and greengrocers thanks to an incredibly successful crowd-funding campaign. A self-confessed food fanatic, Hugo believes that great taste requires great care and so tries as much as possible to stock only in season produce, picked that morning. Almost all the products are sourced within a 15-mile radius of the city centre. Hugo's first ever job was as a 13-year-old working in an independent greengrocer's in Clifton; his love of Bristol and its local food suppliers shines through in every item in the shop. Alongside local fruit, vegetables, herbs and cheese, you can stock up on delicious fresh pasta - made just 200m down the road from the shop. Hugo also hand packs and delivers veg boxes, brimming over with seasonal goodies. To learn how to whip up something amazing with your ingredients, come along to one of the evening demonstrations Hugo has planned with top local chefs!
