The Colombian Company - Widcombe
The Colombian Company are bringing the flavour of Colombia to another location in Bath and boy do they know how to welcome their customers. The name, and coffee, will be familiar to anyone who has been to the markets of Bath where Jhampoll Gutierrez Gomez (JP to his friends), was brewing up Colombian coffee and hot chocolate before settling up shop on Abbeygate Street, as well as now opening their doors in Widcombe.
JP is conscious of giving back to the communities he grew up in so the coffee served at The Colombian Company is bought directly from small Colombian growers, ensuring your daily cup supports the farmers he works with. On the counter is a selection of freshly made sandwiches and sumptuously-chocolate-laden cakes, (best washed down with The Bombon, their signature drink of espresso and condensed milk), lovingly served with the warmest Colombian welcome from JP and his team.
Our passion is serving amazing, speciality coffee the way our customers want it. We may be small but we want to make sure we do things right
