Squeezed

Squeezed is an award-winning independent burger spot known for its bold flavours, inventive recipes, and scratch-made ingredients. Founded in 2017 by chef Alex Hayes, Squeezed quickly built a loyal following thanks to its juicy, flavour-packed burgers, hand-cut fries, house-made lemonades, and decadent desserts. Every dish is made fresh on-site, with standouts like the St Werburger—featuring double beef patties, smoked bacon, blue cheese, and ranch sauce—pushing the boundaries of classic burger fare. The team’s passion for quality and flavour helped Alex earn the title of Burger Chef of the Year at the National Burger Awards in 2019. Despite operating from a compact, converted shipping container, Squeezed has made a big impact in Bristol’s food scene. With a tight-knit team behind the grill and a philosophy centered around creativity and craft, the restaurant delivers an experience that goes beyond your typical burger joint. Every element—from the homemade sauces to the inventive flavour pairings—speaks to their dedication to doing things differently. It’s no surprise that Squeezed has earned a cult-like status among burger lovers looking for something unique and unforgettable.
