At the heart of it all is James, the landlord, whose vision is shaped by time spent in hospitality across London and the world. Together with his team, he’s created a space that’s not trying too hard—just doing things properly. Expect a menu that evolves with the seasons, a wine list that’s unpretentious but considered, and a countryside setting that’s hard to beat.
We just want to cook great food, pour great wine, and give people the kind of pub experience we’d want ourselves. Nothing more complicated than that
